A wedding is a beautiful thing and it’s both the culmination and the beginning of so many tiny moments. Some of those moments happen years in advance: the first date, the first kiss, the first “I love you.” Others, happen later.

But the wedding is unique among all these things.

The first kiss is only the first of many. The last time you laugh together is the last of many times.

A wedding happens once and that means everything that happens on your wedding day is superbly special. A once in a lifetime event, and every single second of that day is special and beautiful.

That flutter. That nervous energy. The quickness and the euphoria and the contentment.

When you saw eachother from the top and bottom of the isle and when you fell asleep as husband and wife for the first time.

When you twirled, and when you laughed and when your feet hurt.

When that happened, it was unique. The only moment that it will ever happen on your wedding day.

That is beautiful.
