Shanna+Zach // Oak Openings Engagement

Dang.

Isn’t that how love feels sometimes, like your lost and drowning, but it’s perfect? Hearts are complicated, to say nothing of relationships. But love? Love is unambiguous.

It’s made of lightning and when it hits you, by golly, you know it. But it’s also simple and peaceful. It’s perfectly and in every way, un-ennui.

Shanna & Zach invited us into their home to document their lives for an afternoon. We started with a short in-home session and reminded ourselves what makes shooting in the home so beautiful is it’s simplicity.

Then we went to a beautiful park, Oak Openings in the Toledo, Ohio area and played in the sand, in the pines and watched the sunset.
