Liz and David were married at the incredibly enchanting vineyards at Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn. It’s hard to imagine a more beautiful wedding venue in than this southwestern Michigan venue hidden just north, near Chicago. But enough about that, let’s talk about why we are here…

Why do we get married and invite our family? That’s not a dig at families…Seriously. But, why don’t we all go elope somewhere majestic all by ourselves? It’s because marriage and the wedding day is as much about our family as it is about love and commitment.

One of our favorite things about weddings is seeing and getting to know your family. No matter where in the world you are getting married, it’s the people that we celebrate with that make our wedding special. Every hug and kiss, wink and smile (and awesome dance move) is a reflection of the connections between the tangled web of our families. Isn’t that what it’s all about, when we get down to brass tacks. As wedding photographers, we love watching people in love celebrating with the people in the world that they are the closest to.

We loved celebrating with Liz and David at Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn (which is like a page out of Napa Valley). It was calm and relaxed, beautiful and idyllic. It was a perfect setting to celebrate their marriage, because it was perfect for them. They travelled about 2 hours north from Chicago to Hidden Vineyard Wedding B arn because it was in the middle of their families in Northern Illinois and Southern Michigan.
